Made it....

The last of the orders have been delivered to happy customers and all is well in the world. Once we have conquered the snow and we have enjoyed a relaxing family Christmas there will be time to regroup and start on the new projects for the New Year.

I have a few ideas already and there are some new techniques I plan to try out. I am looking at new ways to take Serendipity Originals forward. Our first artisans craft market  of 2011 will be in St Albans Town Hall on SATURDAY 12 February from 10:00 until 16:00. Please note the change of day from Wednesday to Saturday for the whole of 2011.

But for now its time to relax and reflect....and to wish you all a VERY Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and to wish you all good things for the coming new year.

Take care xx

Rushing towards the holidays

We have been really busy for the past couple of weeks fulfilling orders and building new stock for our craft fairs and markets in the run up to Christmas.

I have just finished packing and labelling boxes of cards to be delivered tomorrow and have completed an order for fifty cards which are being sold in support of Headway North London - a charity that supports people affected by brain injury.

This week we will be at the artisans craft market in the main assembly room of St Albans Town Hall on Wednesday 8 December between 10am -4pm. The St Albans general street market is open on Wednesdays in St Peter's street, and the Town Hall is right there at the centre so do pop in and take a look at the fabulous things on offer from friendly crafts people & stallholders.

Hope to see you there, and as a special thank you, if you print this post and bring it along to our stall we will give you 10% off your entire purchase on the day.

The Expo Experience

Apologies for the absence - I have been living it up in Las Vegas for the past few weeks. I actually went there for a papercraft & stamping expo, but who can resist the absurdities of the so-called Sin City. And anywhere with steady temperatures around a pleasant 80F is a delight at this time of year.

The expo was great. All the new stamping releases and newest products were on show - even a few teasers for things to be released in the New Year. With such a wide range of products on offer the demos were all fabulous as each supplier tried their best to ensure their products stood out from the crowd. It is wonderfully refreshing to get to discuss the products and the various/potential applications with the supplier face to face and to try them out while you chat about techniques and variable results.

The USA has many of the same products available here in the UK but the ranges there are far more extensive and I do like to try to find things that are a little different from those widely available to make things a bit more interesting.

At the moment I am still enjoying all that jetlag has to offer, but once I am fully functioning I shall start to put some of the new products to good use. I guess its time to watch this space as they say...

Thought I'd give a sneak preview today of simple recipe boxes that are coming soon.

They are a great way to keep track of your favourite recipes or a lovely way to share them with a friend.

Bags of fun

I am busy making goodies for the next Artisans Craft Market at St.Albans Town Hall  and decided to add a bit of glam fun to the gift bag selection. Here are three samples of gift bags made today.  These, and others, will be available to buy at the market  on Wednesday 13th October and will be appearing in the webstore shortly afterwards. Look out for updates and upcoming product lines.

If you have an idea for a card, gift bag or other  paper goodness that you would like made especially for you, please don't hesitate to contact me
